Bracing systems

Sometimes a bracing system may be needed to strengthen the crown of a large tree. Some branches or secondary stems have a weak union with the main trunk. Removing them is an option, but it may be more appropriate to install a bracing system to reduce the chance of the stem or branch failing.

We use a non-invasive system called 'Cobra Bracing'. This is far better than the traditional bracing method using steel cable, which has no flexibility and is installed by drilling through the branch and trunk - now considered bad practice.
